My real estate career started in 1979 when interest rates were jumping from 16 to 18%! This business is exciting because every day presents different challenges. I especially welcome the opportunity to help people purchase their first home. Whether looking for your dream home, or building a portfolio of investment propeties, I will put forth every effort to help you accomplish your goal.

I'm a mid-western girl who relocated to Nassau County in 2005. I currently teach Business and Accounting for Florida Community College Jacksonville (FCCJ) and just love it. However, I really enjoy working as a Realtor because it gives me an opportunity to get out of the office, see the area, and meet new people. In addition, I'm a huge Nascar fan who always cheers for Tony Stewart. I also have a 6-year old who occupies most of my free time and keeps me busy.

Thanks - Shawna Coram

As a native of Waycross, Georgia near the coast, I always had ambitions of working with real estate, particularly marketing my favorite parts of the world, beaches! Prior to achieving this goal, I obtained a B.S. Degree in Comprehensive Business Education from the University of Georgia, worked as a Flight Attendant for Eastern Air Lines, became an instructor at the high school and technical school levels, and completed my educational aspirations with a Masters in Educational Leadership (administration). As an investor in beach properties for years, it was evident that I needed to become licensed as a Sales Associate in Real Estate. My "Outside The Box" approach motivated me to become licensed in Florida and then Georgia!

A native of New York, I first came to Florida in 1973. I became a real estate associate in 1981 and in 1983 was hired to be the Relocation Director for Merrill Lynch Realty Corp. In 1984 I was promoted to New Home Sales Director, one of only 3 women in the country to hold this position. I received my broker's license in 1995 and now also have my GRI and Loss Mitigation Certification. My real estate experience has also evolved into JAC Design Servics and over the last 8 years I have designed over 400 homes. I have also done some commercial remodels and understand the complexities of local and state building codes. Another area I like to specalize in is Non Profit Associations. I also do volunteer work with several local organizations. Married for almost 50 years, I am proud to say that I am a Great Grandmother.
