I'm a mid-western girl who relocated to Nassau County in 2005. I currently teach Business and Accounting for Florida Community College Jacksonville (FCCJ) and just love it. However, I really enjoy working as a Realtor because it gives me an opportunity to get out of the office, see the area, and meet new people. In addition, I'm a huge Nascar fan who always cheers for Tony Stewart. I also have a 6-year old who occupies most of my free time and keeps me busy.

A native of San Francisco, a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marine, in World War II, I've lived in Santa Fe, NM, Mexico City, Boulder, CO, Delray Beach, FL, and now, Fernandina Beach (Yulee). I have a degree in journalism from the University of Colorado and was a staff writer, book reviewer and editor for The Denver Post. I bought my first spec home in Boulder in 1957. That began a second career in real estate, both in an office and for my own account. For years, my wife and I bought, renovated and sold luxury homes in Boulder and Carbondale, CO, before moving to Florida in 1986. In Boca Raton, I was purchasing director and facilities manager for SIRS, a large educational publishing company with upwards of 400 often fussy employees. As a native of Waycross, Georgia near the coast, I always had ambitions of working with real estate, particularly marketing my favorite parts of the world, beaches! Prior to achieving this goal, I obtained a B.S. Degree in Comprehensive Business Education from the University of Georgia, worked as a Flight Attendant for Eastern Air Lines, became an instructor at the high school and technical school levels, and completed my educational aspirations with a Masters in Educational Leadership (administration). As an investor in beach properties for years, it was evident that I needed to become licensed as a Sales Associate in Real Estate.
